Hi and Happy Wednesday! It has been a long week already! My mom leaves today which I am sad about; I barely got to spend any time with her because of school, practice, my race, and her work schedule. I am able to go to lunch with her today though before she heads out. Yesterday I came down with a cold, I woke up in the middle of the night with a sore throat and now my nose is runny, my head hurts, and i’m exhausted. It doesn’t help that I haven’t slept well in awhile and have tons of work to do this week including a test today!
Yesterday marked a month until I go home for Thanksgiving break and I am SO SO SO excited. I am ready for a relaxing break and to see Shane and sleep in my own bed. Unfortunately also yesterday he tripped and fell over a metal chain on his run, apparently he’s jumped it 100s of times (still dumb), and broke BOTH his elbows. He gets surgery today and might have to take a month off of school… I am still in shock at how this happened 😦 I wish I was home now to help him.
But onto some pretty good eats from the last week before I start cramming for my test-
