Hello and happy Wednesday again! I hope this is a good one for everyone as we prepare for our Thanksgiving feasts tomorrow! Everyone should have their work/school week either ending today or have already finished up! Yay for shorts weeks. Me, I came home Friday, I have had the entire week off. 🙂
After taking a break last week and just trying to rest and get better I am back for this WIAW. My most exciting day was this Monday but it didn’t necessarily end well for my stomach but at least the food tasted good and more exciting than it has been. Since then I have been back to boring pretzels and peanut butter and dry cereal.
Here is what my Monday looked like:

Morning (pre gym 9:15 am-I slept in a bit!): was simply some cinnamon chex cereal, eaten dry
Lunch (1:00pm): super good egg sandwich- made on a bagel thin with vegan cream cheese, pesto salmon, scrambled egg beaters, and lettuce
Snacks(3:00/5:00pm): some handfuls of this Trader Joe’s Caramel & Dark Chocolate popcorn crunch and sampled more than my share of chips and quac at Whole Foods (theirs is the best!) and a piece of pumpkin swirl wheat bread from the Great Harvest with vegan cream cheese
Dinner: Trader Joe’s Sweet Potato Gnocchi and Quinoa Tuna sushi from Whole Foods with cucumber and avocado on the inside… I love their sushi to begin with and now that they offer a quinoa brown rice mix on the outside I’m really impressed, but when does Whole Foods ever let anyone down besides with the prices and the fact that I can’t always shop/eat there
Dessert: I got a oatmeal chocolate chip cookie from the Great Harvest when I was picking up bread earlier in the day and I had half of this since it was big and I was still full from dinner
This was the first full day of pretty good eats for me in over a week but found out it was too soon; I can’t wait for my stomach and gut to finally feel completely better! Fruits, veggies, caffine are all things I love and it is so hard to avoid them day in and day out especially while I am home with a fridge full of good food!
Happy Wednesday! and Happy Thanksgiving! I won’t be eating turkey but I will have some sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie! Pumpkin Pie is my absolute favorite I’ve had my parents get it for me for my birthday instead of cake in years past 🙂
Anyone else get any weird birthday desserts like that? I had also had fruit tarts from Whole Foods instead of cake as well.
What do vegetarians eat instead of Turkey? Last year I had a piece of salmon just because I like salmon.
