What I Ate Wednesday #63

Hey there! How is your week going? I have been doing my usual thing 🙂

Sports started up again for the kiddos this week so I have busy driving them to and from practices now! For two kids to be doing two sports each there are a lot of places to get them, plus piano lessons, and gymnastics/acro for one of them too and then the boy also plays a sport! Busy kids! It is all good though 🙂 kids being active is great and its the time that they can experiment with every sport and figure out what they like most.

So back to Wednesday, What I Ate Wednesday more specifically! I have a fun one for you today: i am recapping the Cupcake and Macaroon Tour of Georgetown that Shane and I did on Sunday! Plus the other healthier meals of the day too. So lets get too it. WHAT-I-ATE-WEDNESDAY-NEW-BUTTON-PEAS-AND-CRAYONS Pre gym: Trail mix and coffee

Post gym breakfast: Green Smoothie- 1 c greens, 1 scoop green powder, 1/2 banana, 1/2 c blueberries, 2 T pb protein powder, 1/4 c plain greek yogurt, and enough cashew milk to make it all blend up. Topped with pumpkin flax granola plus extra berries

Snack 1: Cookies n Cream Quest bar- since I had my large smoothie around 11 and the tour was 1-3 I didn’t eat a normal lunch because we were in the car so I had a protein bar instead, I slept in so I hadn’t gotten back from the gym until 10:30 and we left at 11:30 so that is what worked.

Cupcake and Macaroon Tour! Stop 1: Sprinkles- mini chocolate cupcake Stop 2: Thomas Sweet- chocolate fudge, which I did not eat(no picture either). It would have KILLED my stomach and we still had 4 stops to go that I wanted to enjoy. Stop 3: Macaron Bee – red velvet macaroon Stop 4: Olivia – salted caramel macaroon Stop 5: Dean and Deluca- peanut butter macaroon Stop 6: Georgetown Cupcake- mini red velvet cupcake At the end I was definitely feeling the sugar rush! I bought a coffee from Olivia before we got in the car to drive home. I had some trail mix in the car too because after a little while I started to get hungry.

Snack 3: Ginger Tea, Kettle Corn and a bit more trail mix while watching Mocking Jay Part 1.

It was a good day! We had a lot of fun in Georgetown on our dessert tour! Our tour guide was a bit strange and they had history stops of places in the town, which was kinda weird since we were eating desserts… but it was still fun! Hope you have a great Wednesday and enjoyed my recap!
