Weekly Workouts #42

Hey there! I am so happy it is Saturday! That means week two of summer school is done, three more to go and I have two full days to just enjoy my time with my mom and Shane! Except that I have a midterm on Monday that will need some studying but I will get to that. We have big plans today that involve waffle eating, pool going, dinner out with old friends and maybe a second trip to sucre (we went last night).

I have been looking forward to my moms visit for awhile since I knew she was going to be coming at this time for months because she is technically here for a work trip. Shane was a maybe he will, maybe he won’t it kind of depends on pricing so the last minute decision left me not having to wait too long for company and we have been enjoying our time here!

I also happened to finally check in with our sports doctor here in New Orleans that we see as athletes. Good news is I am good to go on the running front. Last time I actually had a stress fracture I did well in the easing back into it (was over two years ago) so I just need to keep tabs on my hip/groin/hamstring problems. woo! running!

Workouts:
Sunday: 65 min elliptical, 15 min run (2 mi), weights
Monday: 75 min elliptical, weights, core
Tuesday: 60 min elliptical, 16 min run (2.2 mi), core
Wednesday: 75 min elliptical, weights
Thursday: 45 min elliptical
Friday: 60 min elliptical, 25 min run (3.56 mi) core
Saturday: off

We have had a blast so far and just enjoying out time not wasting too much time on social media besides when I need to do homework or watching the Stanley Cup from my computer because my apartment doesn’t have cable for the summer (saving money).   1. That is such great news on the running front! Woohoo, nothing better than being cleared right!? And only three more weeks left, just think by Wednesday you will be half way done! SO exciting!
